All attendees will be screened before entering.

Please help us keep the entry process moving smoothly:

  • Follow all instructions from security staff.
  • Walk through the detector in a single-file line.
  • Avoid bringing bags if possible. If you bring a bag, remove metal items as directed on posted signs.
  • Keep your cellphone, keys, and wallet with you.
  • The screening system is safe for individuals with medical devices.
  • Assistance is available for guests using wheelchairs or walkers.
  • If the indicator turns red, you will be directed to a secondary screening.
  • Guests who refuse initial or secondary screening will be denied entry.
  • Guests who exit the venue must be re-screened before re-entering.

Inspired by the works of Ralph Waldo Emerson and Henry David Thoreau, students spent time immersed in nature, reflecting on their surroundings and recording observations in their journals. 馃尶馃摎

In addition, more than 55 classrooms across the district joined us via livestream for this special event!

Katherine shared her inspirations for writing, her deep love of animals, and the importance of perspective and point of view in storytelling. She encouraged students to keep trying, embrace mistakes as opportunities to grow, and never give up on their ideas and dreams. Students also got an exciting introduction to her newest book, Wombat Waiting!
