All Summer School classes at Tremper for 2026.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

SESSION 1<\/u><\/strong><\/span> – Begins Tuesday, June 16th<\/sup>, 2026 and runs thru Monday, July, 7th, 2026.\u00a0 Classes are Monday thru Friday 7:30 AM \u2013 12:00 PM.<\/span><\/p>\n

SESSION 2 <\/u><\/strong><\/span>\u2013 Begins Tuesday, July 8th<\/sup>, 2026 and runs thru Monday, July 28th<\/sup>, 2026.\u00a0 Classes are Monday thru Friday 7:30 AM \u2013 12:00 PM.<\/span><\/p>\n

Students new to KUSD must be registered with KUSD before they can take any Summer School courses.<\/span><\/p>\n

JUMP START (SESSION 1 ONLY) AND CREDIT RECOVERY (BOTH SESSIONS) <\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Registration will start March 9th<\/sup>, 2026 at 8:00 AM.\u00a0 Once classes are filled you will be put on a waitlist and will be called or emailed from the information you provided at registration when an opening becomes available.\u00a0 Only 2 absences will be allowed during Jump Start.<\/span><\/p>\n

NEW REGISTRATION PROCESS FOR PE GYM (BOTH SESSIONS)<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

This year the in-person Summer PE courses will be determined by a lottery process.\u00a0 PE Gym class lottery registration will start Monday, March 9th, 2026 at 8:00 AM- Monday, March 23rd 2026 8 AM.\u00a0 Only one enrollment form may be completed per student for Summer PE.\u00a0 If the lottery process is full and you have not been selected, your enrollment will go on a waitlist and you will be contacted from the phone number or email address you have provided if an opening becomes available.\u00a0 Waitlist will be called from the order the registration was received.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

Tremper Physical Education link for registration will be down from March 23rd, 2026 at 8:01 am until the lottery drawing goes through the week of April 6th, 2026.\u00a0 After that is completed, the waitlist Physical Education link will be back up and running.<\/p>\n

Only 2 absences will be allowed during the session while taking PE Gym.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Any other activity you are scheduling during the summer calendar that would take you out of gym class more than 2 days can NOT be accommodated.<\/p>\n

Sign up for Summer Gym starts on Monday, March 9th at 8:00 am for registration.\u00a0 If all spots in the lottery are filled, you will be put on a waitlist.\u00a0 Families will be notified of the lottery selection approximately, Friday, April 17th 2026.<\/p>\n

Physical Education (Session 1 or Session 2)<\/h3>\n

The summer school gym classes provide the opportunity for students from grades incoming 9th -12th to earn credits in physical education.\u00a0 Physical education course fill up very quickly.<\/h3>\n

Students are only allowed 2 absences.<\/h3>\n

7:30-12:00\u00a0 \u00a0Foundations (grade 9) – Active Lifestyles and Lifetime Fitness (grades 10-12)<\/h3>\n

Jump Start (Session 1 only)\u00a0 7:30-12:00<\/h3>\n

This Freshman course provides students with academic and career preparation. For incoming 9th grade students and students new to Tremper.<\/h3>\n

This course focuses on preparing students for high school. Students will explore high school course pathways, course expectations, career cruising, and job planning. Students will also be exposed to different high school sports, clubs and activities.\u00a0 This course is a great way to start high school with 1\/2 credit.\u00a0 Students are only allowed 2 absences.<\/h3>\n

Credit Recovery<\/span><\/h1>\n\n\n\n

Credit Recovery (Session 1 or Session 2) 7:30-12:00<\/h3>\n

The Credit Recovery program is for 10th-12th graders who have failed credits.\u00a0 \u00a0Students will be placed with a teacher and assigned a customized class based on data given by the prior teacher as to what learning still needs to occur.\u00a0 Students work at their own pace and when they complete the 1\/2 credit they can take another classes or will be done with summer school.\u00a0 \u00a0Please click below to see courses that are offered<\/h3>\n
