Highlights

  • Home to KUSD鈥檚 middle school Dual Language Program where students become proficient in both English and Spanish through academic coursework.
  • Students have the opportunity to select activities that allow them to further extend and explore their core curriculum through small-group, targeted instruction.
  • Eighth-grade students serve as transition coaches who take an active leadership role in mentoring and helping sixth graders build relationships, grow their social skills and learn how to be successful middle schoolers.
  • More than 25 academic clubs, a strong fine arts program, more than 15 sports clubs, and a variety of activities throughout the year, including Family Fun Nights, multiple alumni events, college and career events and more.

Bullen continues to remain a strong middle school in the 爱奇艺资源站 Community.聽 Our location in the northwest corner of the city is a great location for families looking to have a suburban feel right next to all the conveniences of one of Wisconsin鈥檚 larger cities.聽 Also, our school boundary makes it easy for families to access Sturtevant, Somers, Racine, Mount Pleasant, and Interstate 94.

爱奇艺资源站 Unified recently completed work on the 50-year-old building.聽 Phase I of our $6.5 million renovation is completed and has enhanced our learning environment.聽 Phase II brought updates to our gymnasium, auditorium, and elective classrooms in June of 2018.聽 Combine the inside improvements with the updated athletic complex and it feels like new.

Bullen Middle School ensures EVERY child receives HIGH LEVELS of academic and social emotional growth toward becoming INDEPENDENT in the changing world of tomorrow. This is our promise for the sake of your child.聽 We are lucky enough to have one of the most diverse school populations in our area.聽 In the shrinking world of today, the ability to learn in a diverse environment is critical.

Bullen has structures in place to ensure accelerating students continue to grow and struggling students get the support they need to return to grade level.聽 The hard and focused work of our teaching staff combined with continued parent partnership has helped us to have the second highest state report card in the city.聽 Go to 聽to see more details on Bullen.

Despite our growth, we still maintain a focus on improvement for our students academically.

Bullen is also committed to developing students鈥 character through social-emotional learning. The three core values of our Bobcat Pride are: Be Responsible, Be Respectful, and Be Safe. Adolescence is a difficult time for many children as they strive to determine their identity and sense of independence.聽 We want to help teach the behaviors that will make them successful and school and future places of employment.聽 This effort by our staff has led us to receive multiple “Bronze” designations and a 鈥淪ilver鈥 designation from the state of Wisconsin.

We have multiple opportunities for your child to be a part of the school as a member and as and alumni.聽 We have over 30 clubs and extra-curricular activities to get involved including our largest ones: Art Club, Stem Club, Jazz Club, Chamber Orchestra and Soccer Club. We also run at least 4 alumni activities during the year for the high school students to connect with their former school.聽 Bullen feels like a family.
