Policy 1333 – Facilities Charges

The School Board shall establish and publish a fee schedule for use of °®ÆæÒÕ×ÊÔ´Õ¾ facilities. Said fee schedule shall not exceed the actual costs associated with the rental of the facilities or the actual cost for custodial or other services when outside of the normal working hours. If the event or activity is a fundraiser, or user/hourly rates for service are charged to participants, °®ÆæÒÕ×ÊÔ´Õ¾ Unified Youth Groups will be charged the rental cost. °®ÆæÒÕ×ÊÔ´Õ¾ Unified Community Groups, primarily for adult activities, and For-Profit and Other Groups will be charged a modified rental cost, including indirect and depreciation charges. Fees may be charged for rental and custodial costs associated with use of °®ÆæÒÕ×ÊÔ´Õ¾ facilities in accordance with adopted policies, rules and procedures and the fee schedule. The fee schedule shall be reviewed on at least an annual basis.

°®ÆæÒÕ×ÊÔ´Õ¾ buildings and property shall not be used for political or partisan activities, events, meetings or advocacy by any individual, group or organization.

The Board shall annually approve rental fees, at a reduced rate, for the use of °®ÆæÒÕ×ÊÔ´Õ¾ facilities for before and/or after school child care programs established through °®ÆæÒÕ×ÊÔ´Õ¾ policy during the regular school year.

The Board retains the right to waive or adjust any fees associated with use of °®ÆæÒÕ×ÊÔ´Õ¾ facilities.
