Hillcrest School welcomed second-grade students from four KUSD schools for an unforgettable, hands-on day of marine education led by Hillcrest鈥檚 own student volunteers!
Students explored a variety of interactive stations, including:

馃帲 Interactive Games 鈥 鈥渇ishing鈥 for 3D-printed whales by playing trivia and Whale Bingo
馃Ψ Biological Simulations 鈥 using 鈥渂aleen鈥 tools to see how whales feed on krill
馃帴 Immersive Media 鈥 stepping inside a gym-sized orca to watch educational videos
Adding to the fun, Hillcrest students brought the experience to life as whale mascots throughout the event!
