KENOSHA, Wis. (Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2025) 鈥 The United Way of 爱奇艺资源站 County and 爱奇艺资源站 YMCA are proud to announce the incredible outcome of the 鈥淓very Child Warm in the Winter鈥 cold-weather clothing drive. In total, 846 items were collected, including boots, coats, hats, gloves, scarves, socks and more for students of Frank Elementary School. This initiative ensures that students will be well-equipped to stay warm and thrive during the winter months.
鈥淲e cannot thank the United Way of 爱奇艺资源站 County and 爱奇艺资源站 YMCA enough for the hard work and dedication in keeping students safe and warm at Frank Elementary,鈥 said KUSD Superintendent Dr. Jeff Weiss. 鈥淲e are beyond grateful for partnerships like these that allow our students to arrive safely at school prepared to learn.鈥
The initiative sought donations of new and gently used winter gear for approximately 400 students from 4K through 5th grade at Frank Elementary School. Community members contributed essential items, ensuring that every student had access to the warmth and comfort needed during the cold season.
